The Community Interpreter International

The Community Interpreter® (TCI) is the leading national entry-level program to train interpreters to work in medical, educational and social services settings.

You will become familiar with the National Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice, but more importantly, we will help you realistically IMPLEMENT the code.

The best part is that it’s all accomplished through our hands-on, activity and practice-driven approach. Our experienced trainers are energetic, knowledgeable and engaging!

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be prepared to work as qualified, tested and professional community and healthcare interpreters.

The program includes a 90-minute written assessment and offers three levels of certificates for successful candidates:

  • Level 1: Qualified Interpreter (highest level)
  • Level 2: Professionally Trained Interpreter
  • Level 3: Hospitality Interpreter
